Feelings are hurt

My camera is broken and it can't get fixed. I'm sad. No pics until I get up and running again. I did manage to get some from today, so as soon as Mike downloads them to me I will be ON it!!!

Long waiting some good news to the family

I didn't think that I was gonna post today, but today deserves it. I went today for my O'Sullivan's Glucose Screening which for those that don't know... it tests the blood to see if gestational diabetes is present or not. Well guess what?.... I passed it I actually passed something. I passed by 3 points!!! The orange drink tasted bad, atleast to me. The other girl that was taken it with me loved it and wanted more. Anyway, my doctor said that it was time for me to see her twice a month and keep a close eye on the placenta (a test I took showed that there could be an issue at my 3rd trimester) Guess what?.... Annika is measuring 1cm advanced. Yay!! My doctor was happy to know that I'm doing prenatal yoga and taking a 7 1/2 hour birthing class on Saturday. Also, she refilled my Reglan that seems to be doing the trick for me with n&v and my IBS, which in all has helped me to gain weight and keep stuff in. I went back to work all happy. I was so happy that I cried that things were looking up.
Around 5pm, my mom came by my work and asked what time I got off and what I was gonna do, I told her and she was wanting to grab a bite to eat. Well, I changed my plans in an instant and decided (well WANTED) to hang out with her. We had great conversation and I told her that it was okay to cry over a cat. I told her she was well validated to be sad. She kept counting her blessings and how lucky she is to have Kelly and I, 2 daughters that want to hang out w/ her. I'm like, we're lucky to have you and why wouldn't we wanna hang out with her.... she freakin rocks. Today was a good day.

Good bye Basha (Bear)

It's official, he's gone. It happened today around 4pm. I don't have much to say right now, but the fact that I'm just sad. My mom, I'm worried about her, she loves that cat. Mr. Basha was our family cat for 16years. Now, he's not in pain and he doesn't have to suffer anymore. These pics were taken Easter 2006 and yesterday he just looked pittiful. Thanks everyone for your kind words with love and support. He will be terribly missed. I love you, Basha. I'll see you again one day!!!!

Sunday, May 6th

Today I met my parents at Church and then we went to eat brunch at La Peeps. Afterwards, I headed to my parents house to spend some time with them and to also say my "good-byes" to the family cat, Basha. Basha unfortunatley hasn't been doing so well and he just gets worse each day. We are all devastated, especially my mom. Atleast he won't have to suffer anymore.
